Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic singer, composer and performer. He combines soul gospel jazz and R&B in a distinct mixture. From Broadway to European music festivals and clubs Avery Sunshine has been a hit everywhere. Sunshine Her real name is Denise White. Although she lives in Atlanta but she is out of Chester Pennsylvania where she began her musical vocation by singing as well as playing the piano at church. After graduation from Spellman College, Atlanta she began her musical journey on the Atlanta's R&B musical scene. The Fighting Temptations The first single to feature her vocals was Stalk You A house 12 released exclusively in Japan It has since been remixed by many producers and remains the mainstay of her live set. She has also contributed her voice to the soundtrack for The Fighting Temptations. In 2005 she took on the role of the keyboardist in Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, a Grammy as well as Tony Award winning vocalist who has worked on stage production Dreamgirls at the National Black Arts Festival of Atlanta in 2007, contacted her to be the choral leader for the production. Sunshine was the subject of national media notice during the four performances during the 2008 Democratic National Convention and was then invited to sing at President Barack Obama's inauguration in 2009.
