Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude is an Canadian actor best recognized for her role in the fantasy TV show Shadowhunters on Freeform in addition to Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea Pa' te Enamores. She is also a model who is successful and also a dancer. Montreal born, she spent her early years in Texas. When she was a young girl, she began training in diverse forms of dance. When she was 15, she was a contestant in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia garnered significant fame in 2008, when she took part in the second season of Univision beauty pageant show Nuestra Belleza Latina. In 2010, she began her acting career as a receptionist for the Telemundo t l novela Aurora. In 2015 she starred in her first feature film, the action-drama Tattooed Love.
